Cruising Day

Slept in today.... it was glorious😄

Kelly hit the shower so I headed down to grab some Starbucks to help get the caffeine up to proper morning levels.

At Starbucks... with the great coffee aroma filtering through the store...  my sea pass card would not work as it had been "stopped".... not now! I need coffee!

Off to guest services to sort out the coffee problem er.. I mean card problem . RCI was simply stopping the sea pass due to our credit card now being "declined".  The RCI Staff (Rebecca) was excellent and had me talking directly to a CIBC Mastercard rep immediately via phone.

Once again CIBC had shut the card down due to "suspicious activity".  When I asked the guy what the suspicious activity was he said a transaction on the "Harmony of the Seas" triggered the high tech security system's fraud algorithm. I laughed and said it was time to revamp that system!

Once the card was reactivated and confirmed working, I headed back to Starbucks and grabbed the coffees and went to the room as Kelly was about to send out a search party:-) I explained the recent events but she was just happy to see the coffee!

Quick shower and we headed to the continuous cruisers meeting in the main showroom. Over 500 guest are set to continue on from Barcelona for the inaugural transatlantic sailing. We received the details on the transition process and then started to sort out our show & dinner plans for next week. This gives us priority booking over those waiting to board for the transatlantic... a small perk.

A bit of lunch at the Park Cafe then off to walk the ship's upper decks before our next schedule event.

From the fly bridge.
At 14:30 we entered into the "Escape the Rubicon" Puzzle room. We also met up with Patty and Guy (Cruise Critic friends) as they were in the group as well.  We had a great time trying to solve the various puzzles in an effort to "escape" and although we had an hour, we just missed out on the last part... this sealed our fate and we did not make it. Darn! But a great deal of fun!

We stopped for a much deserved drink and also got our specialty dinners arranged for the next cruise. Patty and Guy invited us up to their Crown Loft Suite to enjoy the views and amenities of the cabin. Very Nice!

After a nice visit we went down to the casino to give our donation. Kelly won actually! Dinner in the dinning room and then back for a walk through the promenade deck.

With our cabin change to across the hall from our existing room, we still had to pack up some clothes and get organized for the "transfer" in the morning. We grabbed a cool drink to help us get through this ordeal:-)

Packed and ready for action in the morning... we will clear our room, settle our accounts, check out, check in and then head into Barcelona. A tour of La Sagrada Familia is on tap.
