Out of Canada

 We slept in and enjoyed the cloud obscured mountain views from our hotel room window. Weather was less than ideal.  A quick run for Starbucks coffee and also to pick up some Euros from the currency exchange. We pre-order the funds and then pick them up at the airport. Much cheaper that walking up to the counter cold. https://www.iceplc.com/

Dropped the bags and proceeded through security using our Nexus cards to bypass the masses. We grabbed a bite of lunch then boarded the Air France 777 that will take us to Paris. The plane pushed late at 14:15 local due weather and ground traffic... airborne at 14:35 Local.

An uneventful flight ensued and we landed in Paris at 08:35 Local. It then took almost 20 minutes to taxi to the bridge! Parked at 08:54 then through security again as we headed towards our Barcelona flight departing at 10:05 local. Security went pretty quick but then we queued for customs and that dragged on for 20 agonizing minutes.   Once through we bolted to our departure gate and arrived as passenger boarded. Pushed at 10:05 on the dot!

Another normal flight ensued and we landed safely in Barcelona at 11:38 local time.  Our bags once again came out fairly quickly and we then headed down to the Aerobus transport for our ride into town. We easily found the buses departure location and loaded up the bags. No sooner in our seats and we were off to Placa Catalunya.

This is the the main square that is near our stop for the night, the Continental Hotel. Quick easy check in and dropped our gear to get in some shopping... wine, shampoo & snacks for our "cabin party".

Dinner out with a cool glass of wine & beer and we were done. We did make a quick stop at the courtyard at our hotel and met some other cruisers. They have a "Self Serve" ice cream machine and beer dispenser to help keep the Cruise Critic crew alive & well. :-)

Off to bed at 20:30 local after I post this... will check for mistakes etc. in the morning.
